Meet The Queen & Country

Country-led party band with modern pop appeal

For Queen & Country are a four-piece wedding and function band bringing a modern country sound together with familiar pop and rock favourites. Fronted by both a female lead vocalist and a male guitarist-vocalist, the band is built around strong harmonies, confident arrangements, and an engaging performance style that translates well to wedding celebrations of all sizes.

At the core of the band’s sound is contemporary and classic country music, with material from well-known artists sitting naturally alongside broader crowd-pleasing songs. This blend allows For Queen & Country to retain a clear musical identity while still appealing to mixed-age guest lists. Their performances are structured to feel lively and inclusive, without overpowering the room or the wider flow of the day.

For weddings, the band offer flexibility across different parts of the celebration. Afternoon acoustic sets are available, creating a relaxed atmosphere for drinks receptions or earlier moments in the day, before moving into a full live band setup for the evening. Between live sets, an interim disco service can be provided to keep the energy consistent and avoid any breaks in momentum. First dance requests are welcomed, with the option to learn songs outside the existing repertoire where appropriate.

Although the band is a relatively new project, each member brings years of individual performance experience from a range of live settings. This shows in their tight musicianship, assured stage presence, and ability to adapt smoothly to different venues and schedules. Based in the East Midlands, For Queen & Country regularly perform at weddings throughout Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties.

The band are supported by a professional management team who oversee communication and logistics, helping couples finalise details in advance and ensuring the live music element of the day runs smoothly and reliably.

"Great sound, strong vocals, and a really good sense of timing. The band knew when to lift the room and when to let things breathe, which worked perfectly for our evening reception. Lots of guests commented on how natural it all felt.”

Charlotte & Will – Goosedale, 2025
Star Icon

“Planning was straightforward and reassuring. Communication was clear, timings were confirmed in advance, and everything ran exactly as agreed on the day. That organisation meant we didn’t need to think about the music once the evening started.”

Rebecca & James – Rufford Mill, 2025
Star Icon

“The acoustic set during drinks was a real highlight. It created a relaxed atmosphere without fading into the background, and the transition into the evening performance felt smooth and well judged. It suited the pace of the day beautifully.”

Laura & Michael – Hodsock Priory, 2025
Star Icon

“Somehow they got our mums, mates, and one very stubborn uncle all singing at the same time. There was a bit of cheeky on-stage chat, plenty of laughs, and a dance floor that stayed busy far longer than we expected.”

Amy & Chris – Thoresby Courtyard, 2025
Star Icon

“Everything behind the scenes was handled efficiently. Questions were answered quickly, arrival times were spot on, and the band worked easily with the venue staff. That reliability made the whole evening feel calm and well managed.”

Natalie & Ben – The Pumping House, 2025
Star Icon

“Nothing felt overly rehearsed, which we loved. A few off-the-cuff moments, some surprise singalongs, and a band that clearly enjoyed the night themselves. It felt more like a brilliant party than a formal performance.”
